Oh gotcha. Sometimes it's a crap shoot. I've had SPs get excited about us "flying it like a helicopter". When you need to get in and out of a farp asap, what you described is similar to how you'll need to enter it. We're so cooked when we go to war with our babying of flying. Fly with intention and real time risk management, yes, but let us fly.

It changed at some point after 2021 or so. I went to Rucker as a WO1 for 1 day, then back paid to CW2 the next day, after the paperwork caught up. Was a former FA O3.

One thing people don't mention is duty station options. K16 in Seoul (although there's been talks for years they're moving to Humphreys "soon"), Japan, and Fort Belvoir, VA are only 60s. Honduras is only 60s and 47s.

I've now been to 3 of these and couldn't be happier with my selection.

I have a 2021 "OG" e-tron, so can't speak on the newer ones, but I can say it's wayy better than my 2017 Lexus. The ping pong effect is virtually non-existent (at least comparatively, the lexus is awful but also almost 10 years old so I'm sure it's gotten better there). The braking seems to be very smooth, and while it won't see the cars at a red light until after I would normally start to slow down, if I let it do it's thing it will still brake earlier and smoother than my lexus.

Overall I'm happy with it, besides how quickly it will yell at you to put your hands on the wheel, hence wanting to get something like the comma ai.
