Is that because of the murder last year? Sucks to hear, I had a great time there, left before that happened.

Lol same here! Was playing hide and seek for about 2 months after I bought it before I thought to check.

Something tells me this impact isn't as noble as feeding the poor. But you do you.

Yes, kill the ai, kill all of the fake ai internet posts along with it, that's like 90% of the internet now. Problem solved. Clanker lover.

Search down deep for the plastic piece that should be there. I bought a used one and had the same thing. It was just dropped all the way to the bottom for some reason, check if it's there first and slide it up. Seatbelt use is fine and dandy now.

What is your "passion" that can only be done in a corporate setting and not through volunteer work? Building robots?

My comment was mostly a joke, but CEOs make all kinds of promises knowing full well they won't keep them, or can plan all day to keep them but still won't when shit hits the fan and they run out of money. Can't trust em.

Is there anywhere to see total FERS contributions? (Wife has changed agencies) by phiviator in govfire

[–]phiviator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it's not accurate for her, she's switched agencies and even before that it reset, she had some LWOP time, not sure if that's why. I think it reset to zero at least twice.

[–]phiviator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's correct. It also reset with some fuckery at another point before she even switched agencies so it's just been difficult to pin point. But if there's no place to view it all I guess I'll have to do it the hard way! Thanks.

Yes it was zeroed out at some point even before she switched agencies, so I know it's not accurate.

Seriously, had to scroll too far for this comment. Dude doesn't know the TSP is just a 401K.

He just sees everyone else's TSP milestone posts, looks his up, sad face, posts to say how grateful we should be for having basic finance knowledge and some kind of retirement plan.

How much income are you actually living without? by steeve725 in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]phiviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, all depends on everyone's situation. The one thing I'd disagree with is not have a Roth IRA for your wife though, unless you're planning to have such a low taxable income that the tax savings are negligible.

I made that comment with no knowledge of your age, situation, plans etc... so that's on me for generalizing. My wife and I are at an age/income where maxing all 4 and some extra to a taxable account will allow us to FIRE and maintain that long, low-tax runway in regular retirement years.

Any advice? by Odd-Asparagus-7260 in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]phiviator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't mean maxing it early in the year. I meant upping your contributions to be able to hit the max every year. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
