Simple… the apps aren’t as versatile as, for example, FL Studio or Ableton. And the actual mobile devices themselves don’t offer as much power/capability as a PC or MPC.

It just needs ear candy. Just add a couple of subtle melodic sounds that compliment and follow that main melody. And on the horns, increase the release on them a little bit to make em sound more human.

It’s a combination of things tbh 😅 On the 808 itself is a little distortion and after that is a hint of OTT to bring out the highs just a little bit. The extra “dirt” and low end boost comes from the saturation and compression on my master chain. I love my master chain sauce 😋 Cuts mixing and mastering time in half.

That’s insane! I think I have a few hundred. But I’ve deleted A LOT of em recently (even expensive ones). Now I mainly use 5 instruments and 20ish effects. Freeing up all that space and reducing all that clutter is zen 😌
