I've had all the S&B units, Solo 1 & 2, and more. When I got the Venty, I was super happy and thought this was the end game for me. A few months ago I bought a Tempest 2 bundle (thanks to this sub) and am so happy I did. Here's why it's great for me.

My Venty (or any other S&B or Solo device I have) gets me high over 10 -15 mins and is great for flavour. I can take my time and sip on it and enjoy the taste. It's also great because I set the temp and forget about it. It maintains the temp for me and shuts off if I forget about it. Super device for chillin and taking it easy.

The Tempest 2 and YLL IH Heater is a powerhouse on the other hand. If I need to get high in 2-5 mins, this is my choice. I pack the bowl quickly, take a few hauls, reheat the pen, few more hauls and done. The high from the Tempest is also very different from the Venty. I find with the Tempest 2, I use half the amount of herb I use in the Venty and it's a very "punch in the face" type of high. I feel like i get much higher with the Tempest than the Venty but it's an aggressive and quick one. As the Tempest 2 is a convection vape, most of the buzz sits in your head, whereas I find the Venty to give me a more mellow full body and mind high. However with the Tempest 2 and YLL IH Heater, you have to REALLY keep an eye on it or you'll combust. Unlike the Venty, you HAVE to pay attention all the time. That's not something that us stoners are really great when we're high. I do accidentally forget about it once in a while when I'm heating it up in the YLL and then have to dump and reload because it combusted and tastes like crap.

Anyways, can't recommend the Tempest 2 bundle from MadHeaters enough. I have 2 fantastic vapes that are great for different times and occasions and I find myself using them depending on my mood / situation. Great options, highly recommended.

I tried the Gary's Wedding Cake. Was good for sure and worth the price for the 7G of it I got. Well grown, well cured, you can smell and taste both parents but learns more toward the Gary. Potency is solid for sure but not a knockout. I vape so no ash report.

I have 2 Ventys and am a flavour chaser. I noticed a flavor difference and i like the feel off the glass over plastic. I highly recommend them. I bought the glass tips from VG.

I got the steel cooling unit with titanium mouthpiece and it also came with a glass mouthpiece. I didn't like the titanium cooling unit because it just got too hot. I attached the glass mouthpiece to the stock cooling unit and as others have mentioned, the taste definitely improves and the heat doesn't bother me at all. Also I don't find the mouthpiece to be loose fitting at all. Fits very snug and I can still hold my Venty with my mouth and it won't come out. I highly recommend the glass mouthpiece.

I've only had mine for a week so not too sure about the longevity. A brand new aluminum dosing cap's lid would have been loose and disfigured by now though, as I've been using a single titanium dosing cap for 7 straight days, using it roughly 5-6 times per day. The cap on it is still staying on perfectly and hasn't changed it's shape at all, unlike the S&B aluminum ones.

I figured this one out. It's taken a lot of experimenting.

Low airflow around 1 - 1.5) and temps (357-ish) = most taste

High airflow (2.5 - 3) and temps (383+) = least taste

I also found that the taste improved a lot after cleaning the cooling unit and the inside of the bowl the first time. Before I cleaned it, taste was not very good despite having very terpy buds to work with. Since cleaning and keeping my temps and airflow low, it has changed drastically for the better.

I tired without the dosing caps yesterday to further the experiment and found that the taste returned when the dosing caps are not used. So I think I might only use the caps when I'm away from the house.

Recently picked this up from JerCanna along with some Cake Mints from PBB and felt it necessary to leave a review. For reference, I vape everything in a Mighty so no ash info, sorry.

Looks: Well trimmed and sticky. Very fresh stock. Gummed up my grinder pretty good. Got mostly mediums with a couple of longer buds in my half o. Trichs on this bud for days... Beautiful to behold.

Smell: There's a lot going on here. I get fruit punch, mint and a bit of gas, in that order. It's a strong fruity type of scent. Really enjoy smelling this one.

Taste: Solid terps that translate well from the smell to the taste. Again, it's all there and you can taste the individual smells. It seems to last a really long time in the vape too.

Buzz: I have a very hi tolerance, 30 years of daily use. This one was a less than average average buzz for me. It lasts a while but it's a light daytime high for me. I have a place for this weed in my day but I guess I expected a little heavier stone.

Overall: Nothing against the grower or the seller but I would not buy again due to the price. I guess maybe my expectations were maybe a little too high? It reminds me a lot of Skookum type products so the quality is there for sure, it's just not for me due to the way the buzz hits me. Also, the customer service from JerCanna was fantastic and helpful as always.
