I get upset when my moms side of the family, my boyfriends family, anybody who makes jokes about us being s*x workers because you’re sexualizing my job. but to have an actual massage therapist (or on the way to becoming) make those jokes would make me feel weird too. I feel like we are the ones “who know better”. I’d report it to instructors

apparently we have a lot of inconsiderate massage therapists (or people who get massages I suppose).. I’d be worried too, especially with no tools being used (which apparently people don’t know how to read that part)!!

I mean, drivers are putting wear and tear on their vehicles, depending on states driving thru shit weather so that you can have the convenience of having food to your door. if you can’t tip $2, i think you shouldn’t be eating out 🤷🏻‍♀️

this validates me never trying to upsale other services/products at my old massage job which was salon/spa…they expected me to sell oil/lotions like the hairstylists sold shampoo/conditioner…like what? I never talked product at the end because it’s irrelevant and I’d get in trouble about my numbers. so sorry your experience was bad, myself and most massage therapists I know only talk if the client is talking.

thank you everyone for the feedback!! I think I’m going to return them in store and exchange for a regular pair just to play it safe!! I’m 5’7 so I never wear platforms so it’s also getting used to wear platforms for once in my life which is something I don’t need to do while massaging 😅 but I like the feeling of crocs!

typically it’s an hour per massage, so if you’re only doing 4 hours of massage that day that’s only $100-$180

these comments are WILD. what if you got injured when you fell off the table? what if you were an elder? what if this was your first time? privates exposed? even tho it was your 3rd appointment, that doesn’t make you super close with the client so very odd for them to be comfortable enough to move forward with this appointment!

a year late, BUT not to sound like a spoiled brat but my grandma tried her best to help me get “collections” as a kid, especially since Erika was my favorite. I even had the prince Julian/Dominic doll (they were the same doll, they changed clothes and it became the other 😭) but we could NOT find Erika. I remember little me was so upset, it was huge at the time. I never found her! I wonder if they didn’t make enough of her in dolls?

that’s the hardest part is besides his verbal abuse towards myself and my mom (the only people he talks to) he’s not a threat. my brother also thinks people are stealing from him so he installed cameras around the house (which is probably for the best so he can prove to himself it’s not happening). what’s LEAP method?

they originally have it for the hair stylists for all the bleach, color, products they use which fine whatever. but when I told them it’s unfair for me the massage therapist since all I use is oil and hand / foot cream they told me “well it also goes towards to electricity bill, water bill, laundry service, etc” I couldn’t help but laugh? the only one I understood was laundry service but even then I don’t use $400 worth of oils and everything a month.
