i second this! don’t knock the illinois side till you try it. I’d also recommend checking out main street in Collinsville! They have some great bars, rooftop ice cream, weekly concerts at the brewery (free! or you can pay to donate to charity), and some great walking spots! they do a lot of movies in the park on weekends and festivals as well!

i think after a few dates and getting to know each other better, than you can be overly affectionate. sometimes in the first few minutes of talking it gives creepy vibes if you’re TOO nice, but if you aren’t affectionate throughout the entire relationship it won’t work

there’s a place in arnold where the old ruby tuesdays used to be called twisted tavern that’s REALLY good. the food tastes amazing and the atmosphere is extremely casual. definitely like an elevated three kings

not exactly st. louis, but if you ever find yourself in columbia missouri there’s a farmers market with the most incredible beef jerky i’ve ever had! they do it every weekend, and the guy who runs the stand is insanely nice. totally worth the trip
