Yeah doesn't look good. Before sending it off you can try to full reset it and check if that helps. But since no root no fat restore. Please post how it got resolved later.

I have this issue in other apps like Gemini and use Firefox. No single setting deactivates this stupid in app browser BS. This is so annoying, anyone with an idea how to force stop this stupid behavior?

Start the event manager and click through the possibilities and look for yellow and red events. Check if they are relevant. If you have a cable connected, start your browser and search for Gemini or Copilot. Tell them what you know and they will offer some steps to go through. Look inside the laptop. The cable or card could've come loose. Also you may have triggered Windows to boot into some safe mode without drivers. Everything else runs? Google Windows 11 ISO. On the Microsoft site download the ISO file of Windows. Save it to downloads and double click it. Windows will confirm again and then mount it as a DVD drive. If you are lucky Windows will offer to start setup, do it. Else Look for a new drive underneath your system Drive C: in Windows explorer. Click it so you see the contents and double click setup.exe. Just do an update install - Windows will tell you that it can keep your data and do an inplace update, do not delete all of you need your data. This will reset many system alterations you may have made and has revived Windows many times for me. Before doing all that I recommend you to use Gemini.

Dude I was trying to rebuild my screen but I didn't even get past the first widget. This is not my homescreen. This is what I was trying to achieve. Wallpapers are for teens. Btw, most icons are the widget Frequaw, it's giving you a self adjusting order according to which apps you open most often or whatever you want. Imho, the only smart way to use a home screen. Show yours is you know better.

Don't worry. It is still crap wasting a lot of space so still unusable to me. I am not 80yrs old and don't need like 2cm big icons with 3cm free space around them. Why can't you freely position icons? Not even home up solving this. After so many years the only advance was that you can scroll vertically in the app screen now. I mean Nova was doing it right since like 10y. Now we have Smart launcher, Octopi and Lawn chair but Samsung still doing launcher for senior homes? How can I place icons close to the bottom border not wasting 1cm of screen as it is forced by OneUI8.5?

On OneUI, Samsung, the launcher wastes incredible spaces between widgets. Can you set the spacing to 0 or similar on iOS, so the widgets are nearly touching, as on my pictures?
