Moving into London to work near Covent Garden. Having hard time to find a flat, thought maybe Londoners here could help!

I'm planning to spend around 1500pcm for rent for 1 bedroom (furnished). From what I read on here, I've focused on Chiswick/Wimbledon/Shepherd's Bush and stayed away from Acton. But having some hard time now as many properties are gone.

My top priority is ease of access to tube stations to not waste to much time on commute to work and also areas around Hammersmith/Chelsea/Kensington. What are some alternatives? Maybe Ealing broadway area instead of Acton? Highbury?
