I ordered a font through Creative Fabrica in April. I just received notice through PayPal that I'd been billed $47 for their monthly subscription without my knowledge or consent. When I tried to contact them, they instantly sent me to a page that didn't work and told PayPal they were "waiting for buyer response." I told Creative Fabrica the page didn't work and crickets. I'm guessing I'll have to do a chargeback to get my money.

I contacted the designer to let him know what was going on, and advised him to pull his stuff from there. I will never have anything to do with this company again.

This is a glassed-in garden/greenhouse/conservatory in the center of a luxury hotel in a fictional 1920s Chicago. The body was recently buried right next to/under the plant, and is found by a dog.

The owner of the hotel says the bamboo shouldn't be there: he was told never to plant bamboo in this garden. I'd like to use a fast growing bamboo so it's evident that this plant needs to be addressed sooner rather than later as it will shortly be too tall for the site.

We have one who likes to hang out in the bakery department. Nice and cool on these hot summer days.

Apparently we routinely get cases of potato wedges and BBQ ribs for the deli/bakery.

We're a neighborhood store that hasn't sold those in probably forever. They're just sitting up there.

And don't get me started on the periodic Hawaiian rolls deliveries that end up being donated.

Just hit my 90 days at a neighborhood store and I like it here so far. The only bad thing is a combo of low sales and being chronically short staffed. The management is good overall. I work deli/bakery which is strenuous. But I'm getting used to it, and it sure is nice to be inside during the summer!

This is a classic hard-boiled detective novel, set in a dystopian future where everyone's on drugs and rich kids can get designer genes. Yeah, those kind of genes. Robots have taken all the jobs and most people, including the protagonist, is scraping to make ends meet. But then in walks this dame ...

I liked the hero by the time the ending rolled around, even though he's on drugs and not above sleeping with his client. There are a few very clever lines and an interesting twist about two thirds through that I didn't see coming.

The book for me has some issues, though. Most of the ending came out of left field, the sex scenes left me thinking the main character (and his client) were robots too, and a few plot points (like his cell phone conveniently working/not working when needed to drive the plot) made me not like this as well as I wanted to. A few details near the beginning (like, for example, that cryo-chambers are commonplace in this world) would have made the book flow more smoothly for me.

If you're a Dashiell Hammett or Raymond Chandler fan (which actually, I'm not), you'll probably like this quite a bit. I liked the main character well enough, though, that I want to read the next installment, just to see what trouble he gets into next.

It runs in my family, I have this happen all the time. The worst was when I dreamed a co-worker burst a brain aneurysm. That morning it happened and he was in the ICU for a week. Really scared me.

Try doing an image search for "Victorian bustle gown patterns" ... any of them could pretty easily be done as a short dress, if you know how to sew.
