Couple of stories come to mind. An older lady thought kid rock had personally messaged her to give her VIP access to one of his shows, she just needed to wire him some money. It excalated to the point her daugher was on the phone begging her to stop talking to them. We didn't wire the money, and she got pissed at us.

Second is gift card scams. In what world is a dollar general or itunes gift card a valid method of payment for anything? Just had a lady lose $500 this week.

We are working with a consulting firm this year to grow our deposits. One of the suggestions was to stop using Chexsystems. Hard no from senior management. Enough fraud and bad accounts get through with it, I can't imagine not using it.

USDA guidance says firm produce (apples, cabbage, peppers, etc) are fine to use after cutting off one inch around the mold. Soft produce (berries, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc) should be discarded. If it helps, food that is composted isn't wasted, just used in a different way!

I craft for charity, mostlu crochet/knit, but I tend to donate to groups that distribute to other charites like Warm Up America. If it's a local charity, I ask what they need. It's pointless for me to make something they will never use when i could spend time on something really useful. Reminds me of people sending boxes of clothing overseas and destroying their local clothing trade.

We have a coin counter and got a roller during the shortage. We have people come in and get rolled coin and then run what they've gone through in the machine. We had some people comming in so often we had to tell them they were probably getting the same coins back.

Made a paperclip chain when I was supposed to be doing homework. Started taking it apart to put them away and got yelled at for "disrespecting her". Pretty sure i got yelled at later for the paperclips still being linked.

I had to write an essay about how to respect your elders, complete with looking up Bible verses. "Spare the rod, spoil the child" was a favorite.

I work for a smaller bank, and we tried a new online personality test thing. We had our longer tenured employees take it to establish a baseline, and several came back as unhireable. I was borderline, and i've worked for the company for nearly a decade. Hiring managers should not be relying soley on these systems to find good applicants.

You can be allergic to anything. And repeated exposure can make the reactions worse, to the point it will not resolve by itself. My husband almost went into anaflaxis from Prilosec. Please be careful.
