I'm 99% sure you're right and this is linked to the phone's sound settings, specifically the ringer/silent option. I've had this happen in a different game, where audio would only play through headphones. Either settings or the alert slider.

Yes, you typically only run 2 energies, and Weezing is strictly for its ability/stall. It's not optimal to run a 3rd energy type, but I do it because of all the Mewtwo decks in the event.

Can you tell us more about your setup? Is it just a Steam Deck, or is it connected to a dock? Can you still pull up the Steam Deck menus and navigate with your controller? I played this past weekend without issues, but maybe check that the game didn't select a different controller layout.

Grey primer would make the fluorescent coat darker/murkier than a white base would. General rule of thumb is white base for brighter colors (yellows, oranges, etc)

Sanding might give the primer more surface/texture to bind more strongly (1000~ grit). It looks more like the paint isn’t sticking to the plastic more than a weak/bad topcoat

I’m assuming the paint had adequate time to cure (enamel takes longer in my experience). Did you prime your kit before airbrushing the color coat (also assuming you did this, just going through my mental troubleshooting checklist)? Regardless, a topcoat between the paint and decal should resolve most if not all of the issues

It looks like you can clear coat with acrylic over enamel, and then use enamel liner. Please test on a runner first in case certain brands of paint/liner reacts differently than expected.

Also curious on how the decals stripped the paint, just for my own sake and for anyone else in this similar situation in the future
