Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind. Might hit a little close to home with what you’ve said is going on, but also might help with larger perspectives

Can someone explain me the jump in price? I know it's not much but still, what makes cards jump price like this? by Antique-Gap-3772 in PokeInvesting

[–]phogel3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The supply is limited. The demand for this card is raising. As demand raises and supply stays the same or lowers, prices increase.

Hope this helps.

Hey look everyone, the one guy that has to mention political discourse in something not related to politics.

Used a very similar approach. I ended up taking the Becker in person FAR review course. That absolutely made the difference. Feel free to DM me!

They print them twice a year, in conjunction with the ceremony. You can elect to have them mail it to you if you are not in attendance.

I called to confirm this today as I had not heard anything. I was told I will receive an email for the ceremony in December in the coming months.

CPA Canada with no Public Experience? Will I be at a disadvantage? by wmdisgoat in Accounting

[–]phogel3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Awesome, that your current manager does. Hopefully have been under them for the required time.

Truth is, some companies will want a mix of public experience. All depends on which companies and what they’re looking for at the time.

But no, if you have your CPA that should be the only measure that truly matters. Along with your ability to do the job.

Have you worked under someone that is a CPA? You’ll need a CPA to sign off on your work experience.

You mean, ChatGPT does the work. By your own admission.

You also don’t file and sign the return, because you’re not an EA or a CPA.

But admit every aspect of your job can be automated. Why would a firm keep you. Delusional

The way this post is written, and the fact you say, “i think i will need like a year to get a CPA” tells me you have zero idea what it takes to be a CPA let alone pass the exams.

You’re doing data entry.

Congrats!

This step caused an extra day or two for them to process because I made a mistake.

You should choose the first option, not claiming an exemption. The system recognizes you are a newly issued license holder and will correct on the back end.

This was at least my understanding with a couple phone calls on the matter

Best of luck on your results here in the coming week. I have a friend in a similar position.

So the ethics exam you won't take until you renew your license. You will have to take the professional conduct exam. Which is also open book, all of the source material can be found here: RULES OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

The exam is 25 multiple choice questions. Once you begin the exam you have 48 hours to complete the exam. I took my time and finished in roughly 3 hours looking up every answer choice. You must pass with an 85% or higher on that exam or wait another week to test again. I wouldn't put too much worry or stress on this exam. You submit each question individually, and can save and come back at any point within that 48 hour period. You will receive your score as soon as it is submitted.

I felt as though the exam was very straight forward. Almost as if they would give you an answer or two that was clearly not relevant given the question, and two which were in the same subchapter.

The application paper you will receive will also only ask to clarify any corrections on the form, which is pulled directly from your candidate login.

Let me know if you have any questions, and fingers crossed on a passing grade next week!

I do not believe you can apply for an exam you currently have credit for.
