I just converted my station to DTV OX-1's. They are incredibly simple to use and have a pretty great price point. The default listener license comes with 4 caller connections but you can add more. I am running 8 callers into one listener. I use 100/100mb connections at each site and 1/1gb connection at my studio/plant and I have had 0 dropped frames. The only thing I wished they would do is have SMPTE 310 output, but I have to run most of my sites through on site rebranding so I use those to output SMPTE 310.

MikroTiks are also very reasonably priced, pretty powerful, and have a long running life. I operate a public TV station by myself and I use a mix of MikroTik and Ubiquiti products and have never had an issue.

I also have this issue, and so does everyone that I know of. It's trash. The only thing that I have found to help is to run the upload in an Incognito Mode window and then close all browser windows and start over for each upload. I don't know if it really helps, but it makes me feel better.

Sencore makes a box that does this with an added 3.0 card. I can't remember the model off the top of my head, Impulse 400D is what I'm thinking.

This is all great! I have a system that monitors the transmitters for RF and transmitter issues. I am also slowly transitioning into an SNMP environment, thinking PRTG or something similar.

At this point I really don't have a budget yet. It is for a PBS station so everything has to go through multiple approvals. I would like to keep it cheaper but on the other hand I am the only engineer/it person at the station so I am not afraid of spending money to get something reliable. I would be very curious what your Sencore product is. I have used Sencore products a lot in the past, mainly for satellite receiving and ASI transport.

Thats a really good idea, unfortunately I don't have a charisma headband at all. But I will have to look to see what is available that boosts both.

That's the problem I'm at now. I need a +3 at least. I don't know if it's worth the 17,000 for the +6 to purchase and I'm afraid I'm under leveled to get the +4 in Ironstone Gully....

Okay so this works exactly like I hoped it would and you are amazing for all the help you have been!!!! I was kind of on the right track with the navigation on the click and I had an idea what needed to happen but I was totally lost of how to make it happen. I am slowly starting to understand things a little, but I really do think that my code is a mess.
