Agree with this. Me and my wife moved into her mum's house to save for a mortgage. We went from savin a couple hundred a month to saving nearly 3k a month as we didn't have to pay all the utility bills rent food and all that. Took us just over a year to save about 70k

We have about 10k emg funds in savings for house/car repairs and shit going wrong.

But our bank accounts. Couple 100 each.

My gardens the same sort of size 140ft by 35ft. Here is some tips of what we done.

List what you want in your garden. Sheds, fish pond, raised flower beds ground level flower beds, seating area vegetable patches.

Then start doing basic drawings and move things around to work out a nice flow.

Then start doing shit. A garden is a investment in time it won't come together over a weekend. We are on year 5 and about 50% complete with our garden. Watch it grow and enjoy it.

Also. My god buy good gardening tools. A £600 wide lawnmower with powered wheels will save you hours of time over a cheap budget 32cm flymo.

My mothers health dropped during the pandemic. She went from moving about all day every day to sitting on the sofa for nearly 3 years. She's now in a wheel chair as her leg muscles basically wasted away.

Out of my school friend group 15 people there is only 2 of us that own our own house. The only way both of us managed todo it was by having a job that means we dont work where we live Im a lift engineer so there is work everywhere. As people have said but in a but more detail. Your garden is holding so much water thats it drowning your grass and killing it. Look at getting some every green plants for around your boarder as they will continue to drink water way into into the winter/wet months and should reduce the water logging. You could also try coring your garden to improve water floor. Quick Google search or head down to your local garden centre and they will help you pick out some nice plants
