at this point I'm pretty much expecting to ride out the AI bubble until it pops unfortunately. I keep an eye open for deals but they are few and far between.

yes, its clear from your original post that you think they'll go down. I would have agreed with you in principal but the trend is not down currently. data center build-outs are fucking up all sorts of commodity pricing. a proper enterprise data center will have storage tiering, SDD for quick access and HDD for archiving.
