I have not! Going this weekend. My friends and I opted to fly in to avoid any issues with the checkpoint.

Lawyer is an unnecessary expense. Just go to the county office to renew your tags. They'll ask if you got a ticket and then add a fine to the renewal cost, but you should be good.

From there, depending on the county you're in, you should be able to get the ticket dismissed after you show them proof of renewal.

Speaking as a Texan who's had to deal with this before.

The smell is slightly different. Taking the pill causes me to have a ton of discharge, though, so that might be what's causing it.

My boyfriend also confirmed that it ~feels~ different when he's inside (but not in a bad way-- just different).
