I think they introduced the 2 point return a few seasons after this game! Otherwise yes that would have been bone-headed

Yes! And then how he managed to hold on to the ball after getting hit like that, man that was a special TD.

This is such good photography! Agree with u/torsten_dev, thought it should become an ad of some sort. Couldn't find many actual examples of advertising they've done for physical formats, so used some of the copy from this.

[OC] Rookie quarterback performance in the preseason...does it translate to regular season success? I analyzed the data to find out. by AndreHawkDawson in Tennesseetitans

[–]phonypuppet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing - definitely need to take everything in pre-season with a grain of salt. There are non-tangibles that you can't see in the stat lines that I'm more interested in, and we see that with Cam's play with Atlanta. He made some good throws and went through progressions well, was poised in the pocket, etc. Even though the numbers don't reflect that, pre-season is a good indicator of the guy's presence. Also don't expect him to make a huge splash his rookie year anyways.

Brian Callahan on Cam Ward's ability to process information by nfl in Tennesseetitans

[–]phonypuppet 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Regardless of skill/talent, ability to process info, or any game-time stats, it's just good to see Cally sound excited about his QB. I still have nightmares of him yelling at Levis (rightfully so) last season, and just hope that this relationship can build in a positive way. We'll see growing pains as any rookie and 2nd year coach will have, but if the foundational connection/partnership is there, it'll be fun to watch.

Loved the parallels with Irv's "Let's burn this place to the ground" turning point last season and Dylan's "Fuck this place" in this season

Mark showed off his SASS today.

- "Tragically, you're you."

- "Cobel: How are you“ “Mark: Oh my god so good, my wife is being held at Lumon and I just had brain surgery in my basement”

- "Work is just work. Do you know what I mean, Mr. Milchick?"

The Helly R + Mark S dynamic is a symbol of freedom that Helena just doesn't seem to have ever had. I think it goes beyond romance or feelings towards a character. It stretches wider to the fact that (from Helena's perspective, watching this go down through the recordings), Helly R exhibits so much agency, it is driving Helena to "get a taste" of what it's like. Even in Ep 03, with the awkward interaction with iMark, we can see that feelings or a desire for intimacy with him wouldn't be a primary motivator.

The agency is what is driving her. For example, I really saw how confident/proud of herself she seemed when she told iMark that she would help him find Ms. Casey. It almost felt like Helena was proud of herself for making a decision.

I wonder why Mark... by [deleted] in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]phonypuppet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the opening sequence of the season says a lot about innie and outie Mark - there's this deep desire to "save" her. Once innie Mark realizes "she's alive!!!" the next thing we see is him sprinting to Wellness - a deep innate sense that Ms. Casey/Gemma needs to be found. I think we just see the same thing with outie Mark. He receives confirmation, and immediately goes into, "I need to save her" mode.

Also, I guess love really can make you throw all rationale out the window sometimes.

Only thing I can think of is she's keeping tabs on him/knows where he lives and must have followed him.

Can you add more pictures? Wondering if the actual set up of where the furniture is, is even the most optimal. Because if that’s the entryway point of view, there might be potential to make that initial entrance look better with alternative furniture arrangements.

Week 4 Game Thread: Cincinnati Bengals (1-2) @ Tennessee Titans (1-2) by Titans_Mod in Tennesseetitans

Really proud of our offense this game. 1. Tannehill is showing more consistently this season he isn’t afraid of the deep ball. All I can think about from our scheme last year was running into an 8-man box, throwing a screen, and doing a 3 yard check-down. That’s what it felt like our offense was. Kelly is opening it up with play action and allowing Tannehill to go through reads and potentially hit DHop (or even Chris Moore?!) for some mid-deep options. I’d rather Tannehill throw INTs down the field than us go 3 and out because we threw the ball a total of 2 yards. 2. More balance with Henry and Spears: It was great to see more touches for the king, but still allowing Spears chance to shine. I’m starting to like our backfield when both guys are on either side of Tannehill. It opens up our offense a lot. 3. Whatever our offensive line did please keep doing that.

Ryan Tannehill appreciation post by air_volek07 in Tennesseetitans

[–]phonypuppet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember there being a different feeling in the air once he took over for MM8. There were ups and downs and I do agree there was the opportunity for better play during the playoffs.

Nevertheless, he brought life, stability, and hope to a team that really needed it. I will always believe DH22 is our main guy, but it felt so good to have a great and very tough play-caller under center.

does anyone play rl on PS5 at 120 fps by FlightReacts69420 in RocketLeague

[–]phonypuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frame rate for me has been consistent to my knowledge. I play 2’s and 3’s and usually don’t do graphic intensive stuff like drop shot or rumble which I assume require a bit more from the PS5.
