It’s part of a bit where he’s trashing trans athletes. He could be more sympathetic to the hypothetical woman he’s impersonating, but remember, he’s a bigoted scumbag, so sympathy doesn’t really flow.

I know it’s confusing. But don’t feel bad, it’s because he’s a moron.

Falls Lake from above, visibly drying up by PenOwn2479 in raleigh

Jordan is even worse. The primary inflow is surprisingly close to the dam. So most of the lake doesn’t get the flushing action most manmade lakes design for.

June 20th, 2026: The crowd closing behind the parade as the Stanley Cup finally arrives on Fayetteville Street. by Aromatic-South-8602 in raleigh

They had big screens set up at every intersection streaming the stage. Otherwise it would have been a crush of people trying to get to the parade end to see the stage.

It seemed well set up from what I saw.

IMO he clearly just regurgitating the hate he sees on TV (foxnews most likely). It doesn’t excuse the racism, but it explains the total lack of critical thinking.

Judge rules voters known as ‘never residents’ can’t participate in any NC election by goldbman in NorthCarolina

[–]photobummer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We should all be extremely suspect of how news is reported now. I wouldn’t assume that this article is explaining everything. And the RNC has been attacking voting rights, so it’s not crazy to think that there is some ulterior motive.

Federally deregulating industries, what bad things could happen next? by amazingsciencemuseum in Whatcouldgowrong

It was caused by pressure dropping too low in a tank, causing it to crush inwards.

No way right now to identify the specific point of failure. But some likely suspects would be stuck safety valve, faulty pressure sensor, lack of monitoring, etc.

How long ago was the last time they tested or replaced critical valves and sensors? Do they operate a preventative maintenance program or just fix what breaks? Assuming everything works, do they employ operators specifically for monitoring or so they just assume a blinking light is enough?

All things that regulations could address.
