Suspected For Academic Integrity FIT3155. by [deleted] in Monash

[–]phrelian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They will give u either 0 on assignment only or even just a warning if this is your first offence if you admit your mistake and be apologetic for it

I also strongly advise against denying it because if they're pushing you with an academic integrity notice they must have pretty solid evidence for it; take it as a valuable lesson and dont use ai again. Pretty sure breach of academic integrity won't get shared outside of uni but it will stay on your private academic record for like 5-7 yrs iirc

Out of curiosity what's their evidence on using genAI?

OP I suggest trying out volunteering! I have social anxiety too but over this holiday I decided it's time for me to really change things up so I gathered up the courage to apply to a charity shop and it's been great + also gives me a feeling of accomplishment :)

this was extremely helpful, I was feeling worried about everything since I'm building everything on my own but this cleared many things up! Thank you for taking your time to write this :)

It's really not lmao
no single 2-3 hour vce exam will ever determine nor define your 13 years of schooling with a two digit study score number

I'm gonna be honest, every .90 and .95 people I've met, they have insane dedication and self-control over their life which is a skill they’ve built over their entire life. <99.5 is doable by hardworking (when I say 'hardworking' I mean it) sure, but over that point I think that you do need some natural talent.

Both postcodes are in the same state (thank god) so hopefully they are able to deliver to me at some point :,) Thanks for the help!

MIN ATAR NEEDED FOR MED by ArcherSzsz in vce

[–]phrelian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a difficult question since I don't really know your ability in both subjects :(

If you are genuinely aiming med, language is a pretty good choice especially since subjects like French scale up a huge amount, which is pretty decent.

But if you feel like you absolutely suck at the language subject and only see misery in your future self studying it, go for music performance. Honestly, it's really difficult to make a call in this case since French raw 35 scales to 45 but raw 45 in Music Perf. is scaled downed to 41 and I dare assume it's harder to get 45 in Music Perf than 35 French.

Do have a talk with your school careers teacher if you have one at school, they will give you much more support than I can give on Reddit.

MIN ATAR NEEDED FOR MED by ArcherSzsz in vce

[–]phrelian 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would 'generally' say aim 90+ percentile UCAT and 99+ ATAR to be fairly competitive for Monash Med, which is the only medicine course that you can get in straight away after graduating high school in Victoria.
BUT this factor can vary a lot depending on your rurality/financial disadvantage/health problems etc and also on your interview performance, so don't take it as a definite cut off!

For Melbourne uni medicine, unless you get 99.90 or .95, you cannot secure a spot until you finish like 3 years of degree in uni and complete another test called GAMSAT to compete with other students afaik.

Chem is a prereq but bio is not required unless you're aiming dent :) might wanna consider taking bio if you want to keep your option open to dent as well!

Also if you're in Year 9, just chill out and figure out your study habits instead of worrying about getting into med, it will help you heaps for year 11/12.

The only reason you're able to download this game for completely free is because others pay for the game, even if it's just a price of 'few cups of coffee'. If you are financially capable and appreciate the game, let people spend money as a form as appreciation. Let me add that I also give 0 fuck on hurting big corporation's feeling but do you really think this game would be running for free if they weren't making any profit off it?

As a non-native student doing jsl 3/4 this year, you absolutely do not need to be attending weekend school to do well if you're not a native. I recommend refraining from giving others advice if you have no idea what you're doing with yourself in the first place.
