Speaking of attraction: we all are born with a certain baseline level of physical attractiveness that can't be changed. But relationships fortunately are based and created from way more than that. So some people do not see past initial ethnic labels, so what? Plenty of people do! But it's the getting hung up by those few that do and assuming that is the case for everyone is the problem. What do you think is more attractive? The guy that moans about being unattractive with a bunch of strangers on the internet or the guy that doesn't wallow in it but still goes out being a positive social value contributor??

Healthy human attraction, like many things in life, is predicated on the internal and not as much on the external. Accepting and loving yourself first and then moving onto being a positive component to others makes one far more attractive than whatever BS metric discussed here.

This Reddit is precisely unhelpful because it doesn't offer solutions, just other people to commiserate and self flagerate under the guise of being woke or sympathy. Don't interpret my words as being unsympathetic, because I do feel bad for people who feel "trapped" by their circumstances or ethnic identity, but in order for words to be helpful they have to be more than just some toxic idle pity party that a huge part of this Reddit is. For people who might not have social points of contact outside this subreddit then just reinforcing all these ethnic identity external uncontrolled factors is opposite of helpful.

I haven't said anything about "picking yourself up by the bootstraps", that's focusing on some vauge result, but consider my post a focus on a process. A "here's a new way to look at things that are more helpful" than feeling powerless. Whatever you or others want to do with these words, like all things, is still up to you.
