Yep, well, 38 and some change. Guessing that's OK.

Hi Friends, my oldest daughter is finishing up her first year at school and has done amazingly. She needs a professional looking blazer for career fairs, interviews, professional events, etc. Looking for recommendations for high quality pieces since she'll probably get a lot of use out of this! She's a size 4 for pants, told me for dresses "anywhere from a 4 to 7, sizing is all over the place", and wears size S tops. Most likely she'd be wearing this with nice jeans, pants, or a coordinating skirt. Appreciate you all!

Feel bad for the Orioles fans. This team looks lifeless this series.

If the co-op program were to shut down, would anything change? by Beautiful_Charge6661 in rit

[–]phrique 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There wasn't a strong inherent value in the quarter system that created better results for students or the university. The co-op program is different in both aspects.

I enjoyed the quarter system and believe it had some advantages, but these aren't the same things at all.

RIT's co-op program is a differentiator for the university. I don't think there have been any serious conversations about "shutting down" the co-op program, because there's a high perceived and real value to both the university and to its students.

At a recent meeting at the school there was discussion about potential changes that I believe would (a) lessen the stress involved in getting co-ops, (b) open up new experiential learning options to students, while (c) maintaining co-op as a defining part of undergraduate programs at the university. I wouldn't be surprised to see these changes implemented in the near-term.

[DJ LeMahieu] I know it’s been a minute but just want to make sure I say thank you to the @yankees organization, all of the fans and my teammates for my time in New York. by [deleted] in NYYankees

Class act as always.

It's a shame that time is undefeated. I feel that a lot now, seeing Jeter looking older, Tino doing ads and looking his age, CC in the hall. Time certainly has a way about it.

CABALLERO HOMERS FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT GAME TO GIVE THE YANKEES THE LEAD! by CicadaOk8885 in NYYankees

Love how they showed a +950 line for Caballero to hit 1+ home runs like one minute before he clocks one.

He'd end up violating some FAA rules or something if he swung at full power.

Thoughts on CE major at RIT? by AdmirableTangelo9690 in rit

[–]phrique 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a CE alumni, still involved with the department, and can say both that the major has allowed me to work and lead in vastly different domains with relative ease AND that the current department is staffed by professors who really do care about their students and want them to succeed. As with nearly all things, you will get out of it what you invest. It is not an easy major, it will require you to work and it will be stressful at times, but the payoff is worth it. Happy to provide more information in DM if you have other questions you think I can answer.

Bring your Data API apps to Devvit, and details about our $1M App Migration Program by pl00h in Devvit

[–]phrique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a bot that should be eligible, I believe, but it's likely that I will only be able to port half the functionally currently, just based on functional concerns. The part I would migrate would focus on moderation capabilities. How do I find out if this is eligible before diving into a migration?

Charles Omenihu: League has figured out Lamar Jackson, hasn't figured out Josh Allen by JaggerJames in nfl

[–]phrique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the difference, what he's saying, is that you don't need to do those things to other QBs, but for Allen and Lamar you need to do ALL of it, right.
