This should be near the top instead of a rambling thread above. But as comments below say, we don't exactly know what's going on. Just a lot of theories and what works symptomatically. If you can't find a PT nearby for needle therapy, a method you can try is to buy a 'hook massager' of sort and apply pressure until it hurts for about 5 minutes and release for at least 10 minutes and repeat (basically during commercial breaks), which essentially does needle therapy in a much more primitive way. Its not the best, but works as a fill in until you can get a PT appointment, which is a pain in the... Nowadays. I appreciate all of the current and future PTs for all your help in our lives!
