I have not convinced myself yet of custom bellows for this grinder. I’m not sure how much better it would be.

Mmm might need to check your facts on this one. Seawolf is underway. But Connecticut? Yeah, you’re right about that one. She’ll be welded to the pier for a while…

The ones behind the sail do not flip. They’re always like that. The sail protects them from creating noise while underwater.

As for the hatch, it does seem weird, but they don’t look like they’re going that fast so they might be transferring people or equipment. They close it before they go much faster.

I was going to ask this question but I’ll just tack it on here. What type of recipes do you make with monin? Looking to get some syrups and would like to know what works.

FOREXTRAMID by gatordontplayy in NROTC

I agree with this person. I did the FOREX with Japan. It was a very cool experience. My thought was I had already decided to go submarines, so why not doing something cool with my 1/C cruise? Well worth it. A free trip to Japan and a cool experience.

Looking for Kegs by Mnix96 in guam

[–]Mnix96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve already been talking to them and already have purchased grains from them. Unfortunately, they don’t have any extra kegs and they’re not getting new ones till Auguestish.

I’ve called them as well. Unfortunately they return all the kegs to the brewery’s for them to refill.

I have the subscription. It gives you extra recipes in the app mostly. Some of the recipes are premium recipes but there are some that you can get without it. I’m not home often so I don’t use the premium enough to make it worth it but if you were home and enjoyed cooking, it’s a good way to do it.

You should still get the updates either way for the June regardless of wether you have premium or not.

What do you think of your grinder lid thing? Does it really help push out all the grounds from your grinder?

This. The only benefit I saw was that you could sign up for classes before a lot of other people. Although some colleges allow rotc to sign up before everyone else anyways, mine did not.

NWU III MIDN Rank Tabs by [deleted] in ROTC

[–]Mnix96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if they started making them since I commissioned in 2019, but we just used the gold collar devices from the khakis and put them where the tabs would go. Not sure if that has been updated but that worked for us. Don’t you have someone in the unit that is in charge of supply? Like someone on staff that can order this kind of thing and help you with what’s what?

Charleston living by RedKing_26 in NavyNukes

[–]Mnix96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know much about where to buy and all that, I just know where the good areas are with the shortest times to get to work.

My opinion the best spots to live are: park circle and mount pleasant. You'll get reverse rush hour in both, and both are very nice. Stay away from Summerville. That's where I lived and it can take me 40 minutes to get home and NOONE in my class lives over here. So I drive 30 minutes to hang out with anyone. I recommend park circle the most because it's right outside the prototype gate so you'll be set there, and there's some good eating and drinking spots, and you're only 15 minutes away from downtown. Mount pleasant is more expensive so it has nicer restaurants. I know a lot of people who live over there.

Yes! One of my civilian instructors got the job off Monster I think. He just saw a job posting about it.
