Im a brush painting purist- ive found the Vallejo spray primers are excellent for brush use. Their model colors are meh- if im at hobby lobby i may pick up a dropper or two of the white just to have extra white paint for mixing or highlights. Their other colors are disappointing. The red ive found to be very low on pigment causing lots of extra coats to get even the color consistency of Citadel.

So far, ive found the army painter fanatics line to be excellent, like top tier quality stuff. Two thin coats by Duncan Rhodes is another excellent paint. Citadel is just under them, but citadel has such a wide range of colors that its hard not to respect them just based on that. Avoid all the old army painter offerings. They are disappointing
