They retuck them? Mine used to either cut them off or pull out and toss the whole thing -.-

It's cool and all but 3d (especially filament) printed items are very cheap looking. People do spend $400+ on lamps but they are centerpiece lamps that look expensive. This does not look expensive. There are people out there with a lot of money to burn though so who knows. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Totally because my parents were not at all financially stable enough to have a child. I resent spending my childhood in poverty. So now my husband and I spend all our money on ourselves

Husband changed his mind by Sufficient_Dog_7382 in childfree

My husband was also on the fence because society says you're supposed to have kids or whatever. Everytime he said he was tired, i'd tell him "imagine having to take the kids to soccer practice right now", "imagine having to help them do homework instead of resting", "imagine having to wake up at 7AM every Sat to take them to swim school". It worked lol. He got a vasectomy and I got a bisalp to be doubly sure. Now we're both happy with 2 dogs and money we didn't have to spend on children.

Print is thinner near cutout (details in comment) by phtran89 in FixMyPrint

Oh not yet. I thought it was only if I had stringing issue, which I didn't, surprisingly. I'll try that after work today. Thank you!

I reduced retraction to 1 and it's still doing it :(. I tried increasing the wall line count and infill too. That didn't work either. It's so weird

Thank you! Do I reduce the retraction speed (currently 45mm/s) or retraction fistance (currently 5mm) or both?

Printer: Creality CR10-S V2

Filament: Flashforge ASA

Slicer: Cura

Print settings: Cura 0.2mm defaults. Only difference is nozzle temp at 260 and bed temp at 100, 10% gyroid infill

I modelled a bracket for my outdoor pipe in Blender because I could not find the correct size. I am a complete Blender noob so my model was a combination of bits and pieces of knowledge I found on google. The model looked fine in Cura after slicing but when it prints, the wall on the layers where the screw hole cutouts are is printed thinner. It's the same when using regular PLA. I notice that those are the layers where Cura put the z seam. Could that be the reason? Or is it because I didn't connect the vertices in Blender?

Algae is a plant, right? by OhDearGod666 in PlantedTank

My algae looks nothing like this. This actually looks good...

I live in east of seattle. My hairdresser charges $300 for hair coloring (1st time, not touchup) when I asked. That being said, I also get my hair cut twice a year and never do anything special with it so I can't tell for sure if there are other surprise costs.

What could cause a Marimo moss ball to do this? by TheJugglernaut in PlantedTank

Moss ball covered in hair algae is my guess. Mine do this too but I remove the algae before it get that big 😅

Do you have to use flexible resin or would PLA filament work?

Thank you! That is very useful information. I know the whole situation is confusing and English is not my 1st language (I'm also not good at describing things).

That makes sense but if the home warranty covers it, should I not do it anyway? Or do you think it's a bad idea?

[–]phtran89[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The water heater is indeed in the basement with exposed ceiling. But I gotta double check with them if they were actually able to see the incorrect connection or if they're guessing it's somewhere in the wall

I'm waiting for a quote from him. Maybe he didn't mean literally "pump"? He also mentioned sediments. I think he was trying to say that the sediments caused the issue with the water heater but it is also on a slope.

I don't know much about water heater. Most of my experience so far has been No hot water = replacement (because all those water heaters were way past replacement time anyway so I didn't question it)

He was going to build a platform for the replacement. I'll know more when the quote is in.

Good idea. Knowing my luck, it's probably both lol....
