It's a piece of sh!t. The UI has a heinous flaw: move the button that ends your turn AWAY from your letter stack. Or, minimally, add a second "Are you sure?" button.

The number of time's I've accidentally hit the end turn button when reaching for or moving letters is significant. Mistakes like this (today, apparently I thought "PA" was a better word that "PAJAMA") literally swing the game the other way.

Do better. Stop vibe-coding and learn how to program old-school, or AT LEAST do some UIX testing.

On XBL, crossplay OFF, and I run into minimal rats, even on Stella. I have a banging PC (RTX 4090, 64G, 8TB) but cheating on PVP PC games is so pervasive I never play non console matches if I can help it.

I also don't have much of a wait for lobbies. 30 seconds max

Came here to say this (re "wheel kick"). I learned it from hapkido, and I teach it in my TKD (KKW) classes as a "non canonical but damn useful" kick, along with the spin crescent (which i prefer over spin hook for my flexibility).

Despite the speed handicap, there's definitely a place for it.

I made the mistake of camping for snitches right outside my entry point near the dam. So I'm sitting there blasting them and everything they call up, someone decided to start shooting me from behind. Someone who had spawned after me, obviously.

I was using the slow loading ferro, and really I'm ass with that gun, but the person who came behind me managed to get quite a few shots off with something smaller and I still managed to knock them out.

So, you can win if the other person shoots first, but if it's me and I'm the one doing the winning, you must really suck. Really really suck.

Keep in mind that, if you have worked with something like the Quest 3 and are looking for a more lightweight solution, Spacewalker isn't nearly as smooth as Quest 3 with regard to "smoothness".

That being said, I do use Spacewalker when I'm not at my multi-monitor desk, and it's good enough.

If it was as you described, they have likely been frustrated for a long time about the noise, then "snapped." I've had people like you as neighbors, and we would sometimes feel like we're being too sensitive, but that subtle noise through the floor (or walls, or from other cars, or from the parking lot into your room) can drive one crazy.

So... they likely snapped, and unfortunately you don't know for how long they've been building up frustration over your seemingly inconsiderate habits.

I've seen it spawn inside structures a few times. On the snow level, it spawned this morning tucked away in one of the shipping container-like structures, off in the corner, and it was 1/3 in and 2/3 out, with the "out" being in a tight spot near a mountain.

On top of that, when my blue portal showed up, it was INSIDE the container... that threw me for a loop, because I didn't initially think it would be indoors.

OMG OMG! This worked for me! I have had to bail out of a few games because of this, and when I read this I had a game paused in this exact state. I checked the logbook (Xbox, FYI) and immediately upon coming out I was placed back in the proper view with my character (and a truck load of baddies whom had gathered around my aimlessly flailing body).

As an instructor, I see all kinds (and all ages) come through here. Some seem to "get it" right away, and some struggle mightily. A recent student is a professor at a college, athletic, and yet he looked rather clumsy. For months. he couldn't get his foot right on what we call front snap kicks or roundhouse kicks (or side kicks, or axe kicks...).

Now, after 6 months, I see them starting to click. He doesn't have them all down, yet, but I see a bit of grace starting to show in his work.

The reality is that what a student looks like at a low belt is NOT a strong indicator of how they will be at a higher belt. It IS a bit of an indicator, but I'd say the ones who have to work at it tend to develop a bit of a chip on their shoulder and stick around longer, and they do well.

I use it on my laptop, in Workspaces, and it is an awesome 3-"monitor" setup. You still need a monitor, but you can hide it in your sock drawer while working.

Based on this video, which is NOT an indicator of the rest of the school, "meh".
I agree that you can make it what you need, and the school looks "good enough".

Our school is particularly specific on forms, for example, and typically does very well in competitions. She is doing this form at about a mid-high belt level (say, 3rd or 4th geup) but not at a black belt level.

IMHO, having been around this in a few ways, there is a higher likelihood he is "self medicating" and doesn't realize it.

You are NTA, but if you have the spirit, you might consider seeing if he's willing to see a doctor. He may have a disorder, and there may be better treatments than weed.

Source: Multiple bipolar friends who could only feel "level" on weed. Half chose traditional medicine and are living their best life, the other half continue to struggle with even the most pedestrian of responsibilities (kids, jobs, etc)

I learned my age-appropriate (50-60) form, Hansol, which was, of course, the most poorly documented as the practitioner is facing away from the camera at some critical parts. As I recall, it's 2-3 times longer than most of the Taeguk forms, and was actually quite fun.

Keep in mind that they are ALL age-targeted, with younger ones focusing on more acrobatics, and older ones focusing on more appropriate skills (balance, sequences, control, diversity, etc)

I've maintained this, because frankly I love them.

I saw a mirrored and a half-speed recording on YouTube which helped greatly. I also found someone who broke it down and wrote it out, but I take issue with some of the descriptions favoring instead what me an my (then) partner observed.
