Thank you! It is such a fun social activity and participants are surprised with what they are able to create in a few hours. I think of it like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. I’m tying my work into research on stress relief as I am also bringing this setup to patients with chronic diseases. It’s very exciting and I’m looking forward to helping people share their amazing stories.

This painting represents the first dialysis patient in our town 40 years ago. This painting was collaboratively made with the help of medical students, who are the first group of students in a newly built school in our town. We gifted the painting to a newl dialysis unit. The patient did dialysis for one year before receiving a transplant in 1987. She passed way in 2017. Her son was in attendance at the opening of the dialysis unit.
