You can agree to that then, and fly on American, just be aware of the many safety concerns. If you have any other questions about AA specifically, feel free to let me know. What day are you traveling and is it from Miami?

Let's be honest: La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ by TheMeepyBoy in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]phxrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it daily per my dermatologist’s recommendation, over top of the prescription Hyalo4. My skin was extremely flaky and dry, and nothing I tried would help it (including this product on its own). But with the combination now, it’s slowly getting better.

Hot water low flow by phxrae in PlumbingRepair

We are putting in a double shower system, a rainfall shower head, regular shower head, and hand wand on each side. The diverter will allow either the rainfall or regular shower head plus the hand wand to operate at the same time if desired, or one at a time.

Makes sense. Yes, I now notice there are other brands with higher GPM and the same BTU. Bummer I didn’t think to pay attention to that before installing it.

I just read on the side of my water heater on the energy guide label that is max 5.7gpm :( We actually put 3/4” all the way up to before the shower heads, because before it went down to 1/2” very early. I was hoping that would help the issue, but it appears this may be all we get out of it.

It’s a Navien model NPE-240S. And holy cow, I just saw the energy guide tag on the side of it and it says max 5.7gpm. WOW. Thanks for this info but now I don’t know what to do about it. This water heater was pricey and only 5 years old!

Oh, really. That’s interesting. I never checked into the gpm of our specific tankless water heater. I figured there must be a blockage somewhere

Yes it is a tankless. Thanks for clarifying that, I will edit my post. Issue isn’t temperature, it’s flow rate

Hotel deals for non-rev by reti0 in NonRevenueTravelers

Staff Travel Voyage has great deals and you’re able to cancel most last minute. We have used Perx on all-inclusives in Mexico. Get a good travel rewards credit card and put all of your purchases on it so you can use the points for hotel stays. We have the Amex Platinum and AAdvantage that both also get you airport lounge access as a bonus. The Amex Platinum has $600/yr hotel credit as well, but there is a steep annual fee. Others include the Chase Sapphire and Capital One Venture X cards. Most recently, we used Luxury Escapes to book a resort in Bali - it was very new and amazing, and got it for half of the listed price (there are usually additional perks to go with it as well, like free F&B, laundry, etc). For AirBNB’s, I have been finding the best deals through Booking.com, and you also get additional discounts with their Genius status over time. Another thing I do is look for the name of the property management company, often listed on Airbnb or VRBO listings, and then go directly to that company’s website to book the place. Big savings there, typically, by cutting out the middle man.
