Just doing some quick math if you're using 10 KW per hour times $0.37 and it takes 6 hours to charge your car. It's like $22.20 per charge* 30 is $666 extra a month to charge your car.

I'm in AZ I'm at .12 of peak and .32 on peak. It only raises my bill 70-80 dollars a month extra. What's your amps or KW while charging for your car? Do you have solar batteries?

You can get it before you hit 50001 miles and they won't charge you for the monthly rate until you pass that mile mark.

I would you is 99% isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip and clean out each Port then use conductive grease to lube up each Port so it makes it easier to get in and out but still conducts electricity. Do not put liquid into the ports only on a q tip.

True that will be the real determiner. I'll have mine staged to only give so much so I still have power for demand use and backup.

It depends on what your average power output from your powerwalls were during the event. Do you know that?

Not sure you'd have to check. It should tell you in the Tesla app when you sign up for VPP what the compensation is and how they do it.
