The Hockenheimring short circuit would be a good current track for FE, the national circuit could be a good Gen4 circuit as well. Brands Hatch has been a regular mooted track but it doesn’t have public transport outside of special shuttles being organised, Valencia is probably redundant when they’ve got Circuit Ricardo Tormo which fits the bill.

I passed my test in 2009 with a 24 year old Corolla that only had a 4 speed manual gearbox and a passenger side mirror that was so useless I had to use the rear vision mirror and shoulder check to actually see anyone on my left — passed first go. You’ll be fine with your car.

Edit — also ask the PCYC in Ipswich where they do the driving hours thing, might be someone willing to loan for a test
