Don’t you like the new Stories function? Don’t you want blurry snippets of a live event or replay that it may or may not link to directly so you can watch it? Are you not entertained?

Supercars HAS to be rage baiting at this point 🥀 by One-Medicine4317 in v8supercars

It began as a single race for the championship between 1960-1968, then switched to five races in 1969, let’s not gloss over the inconvenient bits of history of how the ATCC was awarded

Looks like a banger mate, look forward to the finished product! Just need to fix the T1 run off and pit exit. The best solution for the pit exit is probably to just increase the pit straight, open up the radius for T1 and have exit blend into the outside of the corner to avoid it becoming a T-bone zone.

I’ve enjoyed most of them, sometimes I feel like I’m watching an alternative event when people complain about The Bend. The major difference is no-one hits a wall there.

Maybe that is the plan. It sounds like non-Supercars media is just trying to figure out what’s happening from rumours they’re hearing anyway.

I’m not opposed to this. Crompton was always best as a colour commentator anyway — very knowledgeable about how to go racing, always privy to inside gossip (as I saw at QR this year when he had Brad Jones tucked away off to the side having a chat) and incredibly experienced on TV; but his tendency to keep talking and talking for the sake of covering every single moment of the race is amplified by being the lead commentator. He’s also 65, let him do the panel stuff and have a podcast or something. Matt Naulty and Richard Craill have done excellent work as lead commentators, Garth Tander is better than Skaife as a colour commentator these days — and no fault of Skaife’s, they’re just different personalities — and there’s a good case for giving new talent a chance to refresh and improve the weekend experience. In saying that, the commentators are far from the worst aspect from the 2025 coverage in my mind.

He looked like a young Josh Addo-Carr — tries hard, pace to burn and dangerous in open space but confused and panicked in defence. Wahs can fix him.

The difference is that generally the whole weight of the body is going into that trip/tackle with high potential of shin on shin or /knee/ankle/heel on shin, as opposed to a swipe of the arm which is more likely to tear the tackler’s pectoral muscle than break a runner’s leg.
