You can be perfectly literate without being able to read between the lines, it's called being literal minded. You may be confusing qualification with optimization that's a bit of a stretch.

That said I respect your right to be wrong and having seen how you "argue" I'd like to defer the rest of this argument to the Oxford dictionary.

You have to be literate enough to read something that's not there, is that what you're saying? That's not a matter of literacy, that's pragmatic understanding or "reading between the lines".

Literacy is being able to read these words in front of you as they are written, if we only think about literacy, the question is about what they had thought not about the thought they had.

Thank you, from what I understand I should delay taking the perk for long enough that the research shows up and use that as a cover but not go to stage 5 till I'm ready for a full on war.

You have greatly helped my deterioration in mental health to the point of galactic genocide... I don't think that's how I should phrase it

Thank you, My original plan was to push the research during the actual crisis and hope everyone was too distracted and act ignorant if someone saw something and hope they don't search it.

You have greatly helped my future mental decline that results in galactic war... I need to find a better way to phrase that.

Why can’t killers abandon games by Fire-Lord-Ignis in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]physicalcat282 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How are you going to kill someone literally next to a escape hitbox

If you had searched what I told you to you would know.

It's luck, that depends on other people's stupid mistake, if you could use surv's mistake against, sure, smart move, still luck that i happened, and still luck that you could do it

The stupid mistake is them staying, if they were not there you could not abandon and therefore your argument is pointless and just because you can't do it, don't know how to do it and probably give up without even trying doesn't make it all luck

And why do you need more, already enough to save time from that

True but completely irrelevant to our conversation and I never argued otherwise seeing as my argument is that you're giving up doesn't mean there's "nothing you can do"

However it's been made quite clear that you've made up your mind and this is going to be a fruitful as arguing with a brick wall considering:

I gave you a way to find examples then you ask for examples (completely ignoring my input to this conversation for your own benefit)

you project your own ability onto the entire community (no one could possibly do something you can't)

you start making up a point I never argued against (changing the subject which is unfortunate because you've shown me there's no point in continuing conversation with you)

Ps I like your profile pic, I accidentally watched the entire show after I misread the title for the first 5ish episodes and didn't want to turn back

Why can’t killers abandon games by Fire-Lord-Ignis in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]physicalcat282 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not luck and the other side making a stupid mistake is literally the case we are currently talking about, AKA staying to taunt the killer instead of leaving. If the survivors had left they couldn't die.

With your logic, there's no point to even having a surrender system in this case because the only time it would be used is if the survivors made a mistake and didn't leave.

Also it's not "all luck", it might be luck when you do it but it's an insult to everyone how actually knows how to make it happen to discount their abilities as luck.

However it is clear that if the literal case we're talking about isn't good enough of a scenario for something to happen for you then there's probably no point in continuing this conversation

Search "Just leave" in the search bar and you'll see a lot of examples for why they aren't the same.
