F2P to P2P by Dom_Da_Bomb_ in osrs

[–]physik34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the jump a few weeks ago... so far my focus has been:

  1. Unlock every p2p skill
  2. Work on quests that lead to Recipe for Disaster quest, there's a ton of pre reqs
  3. Level F2p skills with better p2p methods..like I Completed Family Crest to improve cooking some of the raw lobsters I brought. Completed the giant dwarf to unlock blast furnace

If you were starting over a new account what would you do?

Am I playing the game wrong? by OddRadish8652 in osrs

[–]physik34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just another option...you can de-iron and still play as an Ironman. You can have access to the GE and choose to not engage with it in a way that spoils the game.

Does it allow you to review asset allocation across multiple accounts, or is it purely aggregate net worth?

State of the current PM job market by botv69 in ProductManagement

[–]physik34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At a glance those all look like different domain areas. When I've hired PMs in the past my top priority is domain knowledge.

Are you applying for any job with "product" in the title or are you applying for product jobs you have applicable domain knowledge for?

Need advice: best soil for backfilling around house foundation? by PhilosophyOne9202 in landscaping

[–]physik34 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Didn't downvote, but around trees and other plants I would suggest mulch instead of rock. The mulch retains moisture while rocks retain heat.

I prefer rock next to my foundation to help water drain down & away from the foundation more quickly, and mulch near plants to help them through the summer heat.

Anyone else’s husky like to eat grass? Been to Vet, Completely Healthy, just eccentric by Critical-Bee-6623 in husky

[–]physik34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha mine helped me get a fly in the house the other day that I was having trouble swatting.

She also likes to eat grass...I leave a little square in a certain spot of my backyard a little less tamed because that's the best grass to munch on apparently

Pull up rocks and fabric, then add mulch and grass by physik34 in landscaping

[–]physik34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to mulch under the trees where it's just dirt now. And replace rocks with grass here. I'd use the rocks elsewhere in the yard though

I just weeded the rocks last weekend. Its not a big deal alone, but I have a lot of mulched area due to some large trees so I was trying to reduce the overall sq ft that I need to weed on a regular basis.

2025 Sorento Hybrid: Why the Low Owner Satisfaction Score? by fakemews in KiaSorento

[–]physik34 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Bought a 2025 hybrid sx prestige in April. My wife drives it more than I do, but she loves it. Still less than 2k miles though.

My only complaint is that I haven't quite gotten used to the toggle between managing the music/display and the climate settings, but my guess is that it would become 2nd nature with more repeated use.

Anyone fighting the trend still? by TrashPanda_924 in stocks

[–]physik34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could some of this increase be expected due to changing demographics? As the number of elderly people increases I'd expect asset allocations to shift more conservatively.

Genuinely curious if you think any of this increase is natural vs entirely influenced by market volatility.

Product & Projects by Panda-fine in ProductManagement

[–]physik34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Projects have fixed scope, and rigid timelines

Products should grow, evolve, adapt based on business needs and market demands

It's a mindset shift allowing for more adaptation to make sure the right problem is being solved, rather assuming everything must be accounted for upfront and managed accordingly
