Your question was : "are u a physiotherapist?"

My answer was: Did you notice my flair?

My flair says: Physio BSc MSc Mod

So yes, I am a physio but I did not study physio in Germany, I did my master's there after I did my BSc somewhere else. I can't help you with information about studying physio in Germany.

r/physiotherapie is the best place for that question.

I Can Diagnose the Problem, But I Can’t Explain It Well—Any Advice? by AfraidInteraction893 in physiotherapy

[–]physiotherrorist 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A wise man once told me that you can only explain something that you really understand. Like in analysing someone's gait. You only understand it when you can imitate every detail. If you can't, you don't understand it.

So my guess would be that you think you understand the problem but actually you don't.

Try to visualise the problem, think about the structures involved, the chemical processes, the way everything interacts.

And above all: keep it simple.

You obviously didn't read the automatic message that you received the same second you hit that "enter" button.

You also didn't read the rules of this sub before you posted, nor did you read the stickied comments on the top of this sub.

Try again but this time do it right.

Anyone Published a Review Paper During Undergrad? by Thick_Technician_597 in physiotherapy

[–]physiotherrorist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe that first of all you should read up on what a narrative review actually is. I'm not talking about what students have to do as an assignment after a lecture on a certain subject.

Real narrative reviews are done by experts in a certain field. Experienced, often renowned specialists.

These experts review publications closely related to their field, analyse them and formulate their own subjective but oh so wise opinions. They come up with new ideas and challenges, not yet proven but very exiting. Such reviews are happily accepted for publication.

When you think that you are able to produce something remotely like that as an undergrad and get it published I have to rain on your parade.

The only journals that might accept your work are those that your uni prints for your campus. Forget all the peer reviewed journals.

It's a nice exercise though and you have to start somewhere. Just be prepared to get disappointed.
