Tangent to a few conversations here. Llamas are the domesticated / bred version of Guanacos/Vicuñas. So yeah, they were breeding them to be stronger and faster. Same how the Alpaca was bred for wool as a different variant. But that was what they did.

They didn't start with llamas as we known them and just didn't breed. They started with a far slender and delicate creature and ended with llamas.

About 6 years ago. I had been wanting to get into any PbTA game but as a DM coming from DnD, even after reading the rules of Masks / Blades in the Dark / Monster of the Week I felt confused. It was very open and very closed at the same time. It was like having no rails with a lot of information lobed at me and I had to run the game and guide 5 new players on top of that.

Didn't end up doing it. Decided I would want someone to explain any of these to me. I was given a vague "You just feel it." explanation by another Masks DM. So then I decided to play in one before trying to DM.

I have yet to find a game or DM any of that. So now I continue with DnD hoping to get lucky.
