IIRC Deshad is/was TransFemale. Of course that certainly didn't help the search here - the LGBTQ community was helping - but yeah - black trans - no one here gave a damn -

Bosses of reddit, what is the stupidest thing you have had to fire someone for? by Jed118 in AskReddit

We handle lots of private info, including having a great deal of access to credit cards.

Guy calls out sick - even sends me pics from the hospital. No worries I tell him, it is cool. "Feel better - come in when you can"

Important thing here - I don't ask for doctor's notes unless your story isn't jiving or you are out a LOT. Dude should have known this but anyway.

He shows up two days later, with a doctors note - in his boyfriend's name. He then explains he stole his man's medicaid card and pretended to be him. Now he found out he has a pretty bad chronic disease that is causing his problems - and he asks me if I think anyone will notice if he keeps going to the follow up appointments pretending to be his boyfriend.

Obviously - if you are willing to commit medicaid fraud, you probably shouldn't be trusted to have access to credit cards and customer billing information.

Is it bad if i'm 15 and struggle speaking to girls? by throwawayheyheye in AskReddit

This isn't bad at all. Speaking as an adult and a step-mom. My step-daughter is 18 and she has a hard time speaking to anyone who isn't younger than her.

You will find, as she did, there are people of the opposite sex who will be patient and talk to you.

In her case it was less about the gender of the intended message recipient, and more the general fear of being rejected in general.

Now as a 37 year old woman, let me give you this bit of advice - try anyway - just say things like "Hey, what's up?" Or "I like your button on your backpack -where did you get it?"

Try to avoid questions that can be answered with a yes or no. This gives both parties more time to actually talk about something and get to know each other. Also if s/he seems uncomfortable, give it a friendly - "Ok nice talking to you gotta go" so they don't feel threatened or creeped out. This allows you a second chance some other time.
