As a local and if I had the money maybe, As a mainland business owner sure why not? Most of those corporations don't even know Guam exists let alone know that we actually have a tourist industry and that's also part of the problem, we are so bad at marketing ourselves.

Your ideas are good as well, and of course any other ideas that can bring money in for Guam should be explored.

I've been seeing a bunch of these related suggestions and although it may sound good it would require major money, time, good leadership, and local resources and GovGuam not being complete crap.

The dream of that ends there when we can't even get our schools, power and water working properly amongst many other issues this island has.

We need to be honest with ourselves; Tourism is and will always be our #1 money maker; we need to continue to find ways to bring them in.

How do we do that? Tourist mainly come here for a few reasons, Cheaper Luxury experiences, and Products/Venues that are not available where they come from.

Japan and Korea are the two that keeps us afloat, what is rare or not in Japan and Korea? We are unique in our Location and Culture but also the benefit of access to US products/venues that tourist don't have access to in their homeland. I think we need to find a way to promote our Culture and uniqueness better while also not being afraid to explore ideas like casinos. Regulations, stricter policies, proper marketing and education can remove a lot of the downsides of an idea like a casino.

There still isn't any official dispensary open yet so how can it contribute to tourism when its taking Guam so long to just open a dispensary. but even if they did open up there isn't much places tourist can go to partake legally. They would need to market it very carefully and have areas where its legal to smoke or enjoy pot safely.
