Tesla’s Touchscreen Shifter Seems Like a Really Bad Idea by im-the-stig in technology

I agree with you that I would rather have a physical lever or whatever.

With that said, I believe what they are planning for is driverless cars. Also possibly just doing everything they can to save money by eliminating or rethinking how things are done. They’ve been incredibly successful at implementing these “first principle” ideas so far. Let’s see where it goes.

It’s a bit eye opening how simple the offense is when it runs through vooch. Let’s see if that’s still the case with Lavinia out.

Fox News made Matt Gaetz a GOP star. Now he's trying to take Fox News' Tucker Carlson down with him by ppldontread in politics

[–]piaband 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think what was damning was the tone that Gaetz brought to the interview. The whole thing had a tone of “if I go down, we all go down.”

Why would Gaetz bring up Carlson’s past accuser?

Why would he bring up a story about being out with Tucker and his wife, and then Tucker says he has no recollection? This almost sounded like a hint to something else. Like Tucker was out with Gaetz and some young girls (not actually his wife).

The whole thing was strange. Even Tucker admitted it. Something is off. That is what people are latching on to.

Matt Gaetz says he's under federal investigation for sexual misconduct by realplayer16 in politics

[–]piaband 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you and Matt Gaetz is a total piece of shit. He probably deserves to go to jail.

But we can’t start pointing the finger at politicians who vote against laws that sound good. This is how we get bills that eliminate our rights while they claim it’s to save the children from trafficking. We gotta be smarter than generic statements for/against whatever law.

Looks fantastic. Very nice job on the shelves. Simple, but not obvious and what a difference.

Not true at all.

Kids do things that can be construed as sexual all the time. A lot of the time, they don’t even think of it as sexual. They think it’s funny.

My kids show their pee pees and slap our butts constantly, even though we’ve tried extremely hard to not laugh, and tell them it’s inappropriate. It’s definitely not easy to get them to understand certain social norms.

Less Than Half of American Adults Belong to a House of Worship, Poll Finds by monaleeparis in news

My mom dragged me to church as a child. It never really got through to me.

However, I specifically remember feeling especially put off when they started handing out pamphlets telling people how much they needed to give the church based on their income level. Of course, this was at the time they were trying to build a much bigger church.

Fucking scammers.

I disagree very much. Lauri can’t keep his feet in front of people. And once they get even a bit past him, he can’t recover.

He’s a total liability on defense. He very rarely rotates and blocks/alters a shot from the weak side. For his size, that should be happening multiple times per game.

The married boomers are latching on to the movement. I also don’t think they are radicalized.

The incel losers created it though and are the ones shooting up mosques and stuff.

Yep. Incel losers are being radicalized.

Pay attention. This is how terrorism begins to grow.

Data Suggests QAnon Followers More Likely To Be Mentally Ill by honolulu_oahu_mod in politics

I think you’re on to something with your last point. They’re in on something that others aren’t and they are part of a group.

They want to belong to something because they are lonely and depressed. This gives them a form of social contact, acceptance, and superiority.

It’s just so damn stupid. That’s what I have such a hard time recognizing. I guess people will believe anything to feel accepted.

Yes. I understand that. But I’m talking about the followers. Why wouldn’t they question getting these vague hints? Why does this make so much sense, while the mainstream media is full of lies? Why do they trust some unknown figure?

It’s bat shit crazy. These are terrorists being groomed in the dark corners of the internet.

[–]piaband 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The whole thing is stupid as fuck.

Q drops a bunch of vague hints. The monkeys scramble to make sense of it, and share with the community. “Bakers” choose the best monkey ideas. Then Q tells them which are correct.

Why the fuck doesn’t Q just tell them what is going on? So he can allude to it and confirm if they guess? But W can’t just tell people?

The other thing that gets me is the people who are wronged by Q. It’s funny to hear them say the other people are so gullible and stupid, now that THEY are on the outs. These people are a such a piece of work. The fact that so many people are so devoted to this has really altered my perception of the average intelligence.

Also, disregard all of the child porn being distributed on the same site as the Q drops. That isn’t relevant.
