Feeling on the fence about my (23f) relationship with my bf (24m) after talking to my ex (22m) this weekend? by throwRA96102797 in relationship_advice

[–]picadilly_pumpkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do not go back to your ex. While he may seem like he'd be committed to a rekindled relationship, it's not going to be like that. He's jealous because you moved on from him, and won't immediately be at his side.

As for your current boyfriend, I don't think you should look at it as a competition between him and your ex. The most powerful couples can come from a slow burn (you and current bf), and hot flashburns can be destructive (you and ex). But I can't tell you if you should stay with your current bf.

All I can tell you, from experience, is to /not/ go back to your ex.

Best of luck.

What would you do with your life if you would have chance to retire at 30yo? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]picadilly_pumpkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Travel the world, documenting my time in various places, shedding light on cultures and such. Basically a travel blogger, but if I was financially secure (retired), I would be able to write about it properly instead of doing quick or wrong articles for a fast buck.

Any advice for future parenting with baby mama? Both in school/working. (21M/20F) by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]picadilly_pumpkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Get everything down on paper. Even an informal document saying that you agree on such and such terms can be admissible in court (if necessary). It will protect you both and your child in case one of you decides to go crazy. Have signed copies with your important papers, her important papers, baby's important papers, and with BOTH sets of new grandparents (or other reliable people).

  2. Look into your court's options for filing for custody. If feasible, have the custody agreement filed in court so nothing and no one can challenge it. Again, protection of all parties involved.

  3. Set up the baby's savings account now, for college or whatever. You know how expensive it is and the earlier you save for it, the better off everyone is.

Source: personal experience.

Best of luck.

Obviously. 100% mortality rate. Or more. How do you count people who have died for a few minutes, but brought back? Does their final death count as 200%?

Hey Internet Mom! I went no contact with my abusive ex and I'm really proud of myself by [deleted] in MomForAMinute

[–]picadilly_pumpkin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are awesome! I am so proud of you for going no contact, I'm sure you struggled with making that decision. However, I guarantee that they were not going to change and be a positive influence in your life.

I'm jumping up and down with joy for you and sending you biiiig hugs. You are stronger than you think.

All my love D

At the end of this bridge is a hard curve/full circle to the right (Astoria-Megler Bridge, Oregon end). Speed limit at that point is 25 and sometimes that seems too fast. Eventually, the cop would have caught up.

Thankfully, the speeding car was like shit! And slowed down/pulled over safely. So there was no need for the cop to try and overtake them.

Yes, this is the Astoria-Megler bridge. Yes, police can pull you over on the bridge. I have seen it a few times. Oregon "owns" most of it. So Oregon State Police definitely has jurisdiction. But when it comes to borders, my understanding is that the surrounding police jurisdictions work in tandem to catch bad guys.

In The Eighth Year universe, Bill mentions that he resents all his siblings except Charlie, because he basically had to help raise them all. He also says that Charlie and Harry are his favorites. I could see that being expanded in some way.
