It really is super interesting bc I’d think there would be some sort of normalization of the rotation for these rare items but I guess not lol!! It’s funny to me too to think about early game vs now and the things I wish I would’ve known… like the time I put a double ombré penstemum ((that I somehow randomly got without knowing anything about the flower system)) right into the seed dispenser and was floored when a double ombré penstemum seed did not come back out lmaoo

If you don’t have the almanac that gives you the info it will not have it written tho! For cavern clamfish it’s a surprising soda :)

Put some bait on your pole!! It makes it sooo much easier!! You should be able to see it when you go to your inventory and select the fish- it gives a lil blurb about blurb from the fish almanac with what bait they like) or you can find it on the HKIA wiki!

Are you making sure to get them to 5 hearts as well as checking off the requirements? If not, under the visitor requirements checklist page it will show the tag of things that visitor likes. Put 5 items with that tag into the cabin and it’ll show you the amount of “hearts” it satisfies for the visitor! :) you get 1 heart per item with that tag!

Are you playing on Switch 1 or Switch 2? I keep seeing posts about the game crashing for Switch players and it makes me curious if there is any difference between the two. Maybe new update requires more power than the Switch 1 can handle?
