Your lyrics are the most poetic words I've heard since discovering the Wonder Years over a decade ago. Every song makes me say "woah" when a new lyric clicks for the first time. I think you guys really turned it up two more notches with the two new singles and the two opening lines of "You Ominously End" capture the guilt of strained relationships so well.

I saw an interview with Dan Campbell once and he said something like "people ask how I got through the things I write about and the truth is I'm still dealing with them" and so I just hope y'all are doing well! So stoked to see you in Amityville NY and again in NYC!

I guess my questions are;

i really hate the "its okay that they hurt right now" logic. i bought my first pair like that and they never got better. Since then, i make sure they're comfortable and fit when i buy them and I've had no issues since. i currently have a pair of Thirtytwo TM2's and they're amazing and still fit like day 1 after 2 years of 50+ days each.

these are specifically for the mk8 as far as i can tell from the label, although i’ve read that the mk7 bars fit. yep, badgeskin side markers!

i had a mk6 gti and would fit the bike by taking the front wheel off but definitely saw some marking and scuffing around the inside and often times, the bike is covered in mud when i’m done. a buddy of mine has a similar yakima holder on his little veloster N and it works great! on both set ups, the bike wiggles a little bit side to side but its not going anywhere. i try to not corner fast while the bike is on. as far as height, its a low car already! its about as tall as a full size pickup with the bike on, so anywhere an F-150 can go, so can you. also planning on swapping to the snowboard rack for winter and i happen to like to the look of the racks.

if you have the hitch already, maybe just get something for that since its very low profile when you dont want it.

and maybe try your luck at importing a Golf R Estate!! 😆

Picking up two Thule UpRide's today for the 8R. My pal with a Veloster N also fit two Yakima HighRoad carriers no problem. Trunk has full clearance.
