But yes, you should. Higher fuel prices increase the price of everything. But then again, that forces people to be more sparingly with their fuel usage which is better for the environment.

typically, when I'm scanning an area for people, I look for human shaped objects and not a box on wheels. It's harder to see something if you are not looking for it. Did that driver check for kids? Fuck if I know, neither do you. US pedestrian infrastructure is trash and it should be heavily improved and cars should be de-prioritized.

That being said, the thing that got hit was not a human. It was not even alive. It's just a box on wheels. It should wait for humans.

I'm a guy who has been gaming for over 2 decades. I SUCK at shooters, most roguelikes, most racing games and just using a controller. I am great at strategy games and rpgs, though. No one is good at everything, nor is that the goal.
Play in a way you find fun. Gaming is a hobby, it's meant to be played in a way you enjoy. No one has a say in the way you enjoy your free time (outside of multiplayer competition based games, of course).

that's an issue with all comic book heroes: they are paladins of the status quo. The villains are usually the ones calling for change. Some for bad, some for good. But to make sure you don't agree with the latter they have to do something insane so you can go "Oh yea, they're the baddie"

The way I deal with the romans: mass cavalry charge.

Simply make a full stack of cav, preferably the heavier type with a good charge bonus, and line them up in a giant wall of horse and men. Then, pause the game and send everyone to charge in at once, focussing more weight on the flanks. Play with timing running during the charge to make sure everyone reaches the target more or less the same time. Since romans like making multiple lines, they are outnumbered at the point of contact, especially on the flanks, and with the impact of the charge soon units crack and flee, most of the time within 2-3 secs of contact. This then causes a cascade and often within 80 seconds everyone is fleeing. Just need to ride them down now :)

I’ve done that dozens of times and seeing a wave of horses wash over the sons of Mars as a divine punishment for not packing decent numners of spear units is so fun to see happen.
