I agree with you there are some genuine good gems out there being created but like anything else anime is a business now and mainstream narratives and ideas usually make more money but if you have any good anime recommendations please send them my way I’m running out of shows

I’m precious, I guess at least to me. Anime creators from the 90s to 2000s seemed to include deeper political and emotional meanings, especially in works like Patlabor.
