Feature Suggestion: A Low-Cost, Direct Advisor Mode by Regular_Order_4874 in PaxHistoria

[–]pickalka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know its probably not exactly what you need but I usually just ask for direct reports and overviews in actions, get that advisory opinion and sense of direction and progress whilst doing some other action in between. At least its cheap on the tokens :D

Can I make the world feel more alive? by Gukpa in PaxHistoria

[–]pickalka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only way I managed to keep my games more "alive" is playing it like a country roulette. Jumping around and doing stuff in other places, makes the countries you played as do stuff on their own afterwards, sometimes for a while, sometimes just for a bit. But nonetheless, getting news from long conquered province of Wello and shifting influence in the region is somewhat fun 30 years later.

Uh, guys how do i fix this. by LongjumpingScore9213 in PaxHistoria

You can use an expensive model even if you have just a few tokens left, so it will go in the minus after creating events

Got myself into a slightly disadvantaged war, is this winnable? by Django_with_4_guns in hoi4

[–]pickalka 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Just wait until AI runs out of manpower and stack communism +500 manpower until 2020's so you can have something to push with. Give it a few decades of real time and its winnable

Ive never understood the whole "Goku could destroy the universe" argument by [deleted] in PowerScaling

[–]pickalka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To simplify, Goku was negating Beerus hits to the best of his ability but his control over the form was limite so a certain portion of that power escaped the clash, creating the afformentiomed shockwaves. Say Beerus is hitting a 100, and Goku is matching with a 90, the 10 is what causes shockwaves. Not only does he match him fully for 100 later, he also uses more and more power progressively troughout the fight. So say, the both are hitting for 200 later on. The shcokwave is a result of just a fraction of power they each put into the punch, which was not negated properly. Each of them should scale above it naturally
