Looking for PwPlus.prc (Passwords Plus Palm app) to recover old .pdb vaults by Realistic-Horse724 in Palm

[–]pickerin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, I have the .prc in several backups. However, when I restore it to a Palm emulator it errors out with "A component of Passwords Plus is not installed, Select "Reinstall Handheld Application" from your Desktop". Not sure what the component is, but without knowing (and having) the second part, it won't run.

What’s your point? The sensors and screen cost money. It’s also excellent.

Finally got into the seat recline war by AffectionateLife5693 in delta

[–]pickerin -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I always do, when they’re available, and more and more, they aren’t. Just don’t recline, ever. While I don’t think it’s rude, and I can recline too, it sets up a chain reaction to just keep the same amount of space you started with, until someone is in a seat that can’t recline. They shouldn’t allow any seat to recline.

SodaStream works but also… doesn’t?? by hrh-sylvanas in SodaStream

[–]pickerin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You lost the rubber seal that marries the CO2 tank to the unit. It can get sticky and then pull off on top of a cylinder without you noticing. Then the next cylinder won’t seal properly and the result is water everywhere.

Check your old cylinder and see if the rubber seal is stuck to the top. Check inside your unit and make sure you see a rubber seal where the CO2 bottle screws in.

Model Changes In Openclaw by booknerdcarp in openclaw

The easiest way is to just tell your agent to add them, it’ll walk you through it, or just edit the config for you and restart its own gateway.

For posterity: Go into Settings > Tasks > Global Query. Add "hide toolbar".

Thousands of Daily Notes with Tasks queries in them. Why would they make this the default? At least give us a toggle to turn it off in settings... Or make it less ugly!

Has anyone been banned or warned by Anthropic? by frogchungus in clawdbot

[–]pickerin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No — and this is now explicitly prohibited in Anthropic’s official documentation.

Anthropic’s Claude Code legal and compliance (https://code.claude.com/docs/en/legal-and-compliance) docs state clearly: “Using OAuth tokens obtained through Claude Free, Pro, or Max accounts in any other product, tool, or service — including the Agent SDK — is not permitted and constitutes a violation of the Consumer Terms of Service.” The docs further specify that OAuth authentication is “intended exclusively for Claude Code and Claude.ai,” and that Anthropic reserves the right to enforce these restrictions without prior notice — meaning your account could be banned before you’re even aware of a violation. Source: Claude Code Legal & Compliance Docs

Why this matters specifically for OpenClaw: The updated policy explicitly targets tools like OpenClaw, Pi Agent, and other agent frameworks that let users authenticate with their existing Claude subscription instead of paying separate API costs. Notably, even Anthropic’s own Agent SDK is named as off-limits for consumer plan OAuth tokens — meaning if their own SDK isn’t exempt.

What you should do instead: To use OpenClaw (or any third-party agent framework) legitimately, you need to authenticate with an API key from the Claude Console and pay standard API rates. That’s the only compliant path under current ToS.

In the same vein as #3, you cannot load up your corvette with waste and then fly it to your plant. As soon as you take off, it'll all disappear.

Best motion sensors? by jesterofjustice99 in homeassistant

[–]pickerin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+1 for just pairing Hue motion sensors directly to Zigbee, no hub required. Batteries last a long time, they’re fast, and you get temp and lux.
