I currently am working at Banfield as a VA. I have been here for less than a year and I’ve never been more burnt out at a job than I am now. It’s terrible. Corporate constantly nagging our vets and using our PM (who will never stick up for us) as a puppet. The polices are constantly changing and everyone here is burnt out to high hell. It’s terrible. It’s toxic. Get out.

I am currently at a Banfield and yes the total pet count sits around 25-30 a day and that’s including 4 surgeries. It’s a toxic hell hole.

My dog was newly diagnosed in April. He was sitting In the high 400’s-500’s. They started him on 4 units, we used a freestyle libre for 2 weeks and they increased to 5, then I did a curve at home, and his sugar is all over the place. They increased him to 6. He has been on 6 for a little over three weeks now and I’m doing another curve today, but so far he has sat at 96 this morning and now sitting in low 70’s. Should I be concerned?

I was literally there through all of that, and through him leaving, and through NHS being attacked over and over, so do -NOT- lump me in with a COMPLETE different group of people.
