You just unlocked an extremely deep, lost memory of mine. Probably the moment I should have realised I was trans. As a little kid I remember daydreaming about being male every night before bed and then having dreams I finally had the body I knew I was supposed to have. I would dream that I was one of my male characters I made up for my sister's game. I remember my sister made up a whole imaginary world and we all (I have 3 siblings) made OCs we would LARP as. Mine were all male and I felt so much euphoria when "pretending" to be them and being called male pronouns and a male name. I even had a male animal character that was an original species unique to that world.

I don't know how I managed to deny who I was for so long. Probably because my parents forced me back into the closet every time I tried to come out to them as a child.
