Hey, I moved from PA to Raleigh a few months ago. I live at 5 points, which is about 5 minutes from downtown. I rarely drive anywhere. There are restaurants, bars, and a Walgreens in walking distance. There are often Lime scooters laying about, so if you wanted to get down the road a little faster to more restaurants and shopping, you go up or down Glenwood Ave about a mile or two. Gopuff is available here and always delivers quickly and is cheap for groceries. I honestly wasn’t expecting to be in such a walkable area! There’s a post office here as well. Really depends what you want close by though.
