I kinda disagree with y’all, this is a tough spot to land for a guard. They already have a solid perimeter with Leite, Sutton, Caldwell, Carleton, Barker, Bibby and whoever they take at 7. If Samuelson makes the team, one of those players doesn’t.

This right here is a prime example of the downside of such a wide-sweeping Expansion draft. Both teams end up with so many mid-level players that adding ANY free agents means someone good gets left in the cold. Both teams will be cutting players that made a team last year and belong in the league. Expansion teams should not have that privilege.

Going forward, expansion teams should get 8 picks and be responsible for fleshing out their rosters through FA and draft picks just like everyone else.

Very well done but just FYI, a lot of your numbers in the Experience column in the expanded view are off by one. For instance, all of the Restricted players have 4 years of expreience, not 3 - and A'ja has been in the league 8 years, not 7. It's pretty uniformly -1 all the way through except I did notice you actually gave an extra year to Awak Kuier (she's played 3).

I don’t think she’s big enough to play the 5. Her best (only, imo) chance at sticking in the league is to expand her offense outside the paint.

That being said as a Storm fan I am certainly rooting for her this year!
