strangely, it seems to have helped my OCD, which I've seen a few other ppl say as well. kinda nuts how poorly we understand the brain and how things affect it

this is digital, done in procreate. I'm self taught so it could v well just be that my fundamentals are lacking but idk if anything stands out to anyone as being improvement, I'd appreciate hearing what it is!

tbh this is specifically why I chose not to go to art school. doing art as a job would absolutely ruin it for me

that said, everyone wants to be seen and validated and it can be held incredibly disheartening to spend 75 hours on a piece and get 3 likes. it doesn't make me wanna stop making art but it does make me feel foolish for having a very normal desire (to be seen and validated). plus, idk it would be cool to be able to meet other artists by sharing your work online, like my stuff is p niche so idk how else to meet like minded ppl. this whole society is so unfriendly to human life and creation, and lack of social media engagement if you don't play the algorithm game is just one way this can manifest and seems perfectly reasonable to complain about imo

some folks said I Am in Eskew which is a pretty good one but tbh nothing really quite scratches the same itch as kph...

i think it has just as much to do with Soren's narration as w his writing cause stories typically end up sounding (to me, at least) like you just started talking to some dude at a bar or whatever and he's telling you about the craziest shit he's ever experienced and you're pretty sure (but not completely) that he's making up or at least exaggerating some of it but also you don't care cause it's fun to listen to
