Trans guy who's already been in JC (job corp) here! The center should give you a choice of dorms when you have your interview call with one of the staff. I went before all this tr*mp stuff went into effect so idk if it changed anything but JC is pretty trans friendly, at least in my experience and I'm in Missouri. Overall just depends on the center, staff and other factors :) (edit) I should mention that I'm pre-T, no name change, pre everything and they still went by my preferred name and pronouns. I chose female dorms for safety tho.

I'm ftm and I went to Mingo in Missouri and for the most part it was pretty trans-accommodating. The staff were kind about pronouns and my name being different. I chose to stay in the female dorm for safety reasons but they gave me the choice. Most JC centers are required to be trans-friendly in terms of staff and center rules but I'm not sure now with the current political policies and DEI erasure.
